Name: Kazi Nazrul Islam

Birth Place: Burdwan District, West Bengal
Father’s Name: Kazi Fakir Ahmed, was the IMAM of a mosque and the caretaker of a mausoleum
Father’s Occupation: Imam of a mosque
Mother’s Name: Zaheda Khatun
School Life: After his father's death in 1908, Nazrul took up his father's job as caretaker and also served as muazzin of the mosque to support his family. He passed the lower primary examination from his village MAKTAB. Nazrul had two brothers, Kazi Shahebjan and Kazi Ali Hussein, and a sister, Umme Kulsum. Nicknamed Dukhu Mia ("Sad Man"), Nazrul began attending the maktab — the local religious school, run by the mosque — where he studied the Qur'an and other scripture, Islamic philosophy and theology

Left skopje: At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India
Her life: schoolFrom 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa taught at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta.On October 7, 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity". In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI. In 1963 both the Contemplative branch of the Sisters and the Active branch of the Brothers was founded. In 1979 the Contemplative branch of the Brothers was added, and in 1984 the Priest branch was established. Association on March 29, 1969. By the 1990s there were over one million Co-Workers in more than 40 countries. Mother Teresa's work has been recognized and acclaimed throughout the world and she has received a number of awards and distinctions, including the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize (1971) and the Nehru Prize for her promotion of international peace and understanding (1972). She also received the Balzan Prize (1979) and the Templeton and Magsaysay awards. Biography of Zahir Raihan
Name: Zahir Raihan
Birth: 5 august, 1933
Birth Place: Mojnupur, Feni
Education: B. A. (honors) Bengali, Dhaka University 1958. Was associated with progressive politics during 1951-1957.
His Life: Actively participated in the Language Movement in 1952. Was imprisoned. After release , went to Calcutta to learn photography at Pramathesh Barua Memorial Photography School, Calcutta. Entered the film world in 1956. “Kakhona Aseni” was the first film directed by him in 1961. Then he directed the film “Kajal”, Kancher Deyal, Behula, Jiban Theke Neya, Anwara, Sangam, Bahana etc. was working on an English picture “Let There Be Light”. But liberation war started and he went to Calcutta. Produced the renowned documentary “Stop Genocide”. His contribution to the film industry during 1962-1971 was great. Was pioneer in producing English film, coloured film and cinemascope film. His “Kancher Deal” received a number of film awards.

Awards: Received “Adamjee Literature Prize” for his novel “Hajar Bachar Dhore” in 1964. Received “Bangla Academy Award” for novel in 1972 (posthumous)
Death: he was missing, probably killed by the collaborators of the Occupation army after liberation of Bangladesh, when he was searching for his elder brother Shahidullah kaisar, an eminent writer, who was also probably killed by AL-badar, the reactionary and fanatic group.

Education: at faridpur zilla school and faridpur rajendra college M.A., Bengali Calcutta University while studying in Calcutta University he was appointed collector of folklore. After doing M.A., was Ramtanu Lahiri Research assistant under Dr. Dinesh Sen. Joined Bengali department, Dhaka University in 1938. Joined govt. Publicity Department in 1941. His college day poem ‘kabar’ made him known as a poet.pub.
